- What inspired you to start building miniatures?
Growing up I was exposed to so many brilliant stop-motion films like Chicken Run, A Corpse Bride, and Coraline, I always was particularly drawn to the magic of somehow making an inanimate object come to life through craft and photography. My step-dad who has a passion and career in architecture for many years has also been a big influenece on both my work ethic and my facination for constructing miniature buildings.
- Would you reccomend any books or reference materials for anyone intrested in set design?
Get ready because it’s a mouthful...The Elements of Style: A Practical Encyclopedia of Interior Architectural Details, from 1485 to the Presentby Stephen Calloway. This is a must-have source for any kind of building construction or design if you need a headstart or even just some inspiration! - What’s your favourite film?
Fantastic Mr.Fox by Wes Anderson and 20th Century Fox. Without a doubt in my mind one of the easiest questions i could ever be asked. It’s been my all time favourite since i was a kid and im yet to find another movie that compares!
